- John W, Pinedale - Sports Injury

I sustained a lower back injury while working out in the gym. The pain was so intense that I couldn't walk more than a few yards or sleep at night. I went to the Pinedale clinic and they gave me a steroidal anti-inflammatory and pain medication. I finished this course of treatment and the pain was no better.  The clinic then recommended an MRI at St John's in Jackson which would probably lead to a surgical solution.  Surgery was a last resort for me and I decided to save decline the MRI. Instead I went to Winds Physical Therapy.  What a great decision that was. I went in for my initial evaluation and Craig prescribed a multi-faceted treatment program that included dry needling, stretching, postural re-alignment and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. Within a few weeks, my pain was gone and I was able to resume my favorite activities including snow-skiing, cross fit and big game hunting. Five stars for Winds Therapy.

- Anah R, PRC (People's Republic of California) - Work Injury/Chronic Pain

I worked for years as a Dental Hygienist. The postures required to clean someone's teeth damaged my shoulder and mid-back. As a result I haven't been able to work and I've suffered from chronic pain.  I've tried many remedies over the years including prescription pain medication and muscle relaxers.  Nothing helped so I resigned myself to  the pain. While I was visiting Pinedale on vacation, Craig was recommended  as someone who could help. He diagnosed the root cause as a persistent muscle spasm and proceeded to dry needle the knotted up muscle. The procedure didn't hurt at all and it gave me immediate relief. The relief is durable; the pain was greatly reduced for weeks. If I lived closer to Pinedale, I would come back for more needling when it acts up.
